We currently have an opening for an experienced Accounting Clerk/FC Bookkeeper whose duties will touch all accounting functions and office administration. Responsibilities include: Full AP responsibilities: Match, batch, code vendor invoices to PO's and receivers, accurate data entry into PO and AP system: requires knowledge in determining proper classification of GL codes Cash disbursements prepare and match invoices for weekly check runs, distribute and file accordingly Reconcile vendor/customer accounts and statements. Be able to research and resolve all vendor and customer discrepancies by checking all possible sources of the cause, reconstructing probable cause and recognizing the effect on other accounts. Prepare correction if required Routine to complex daily invoicing using data from customer portals. Ensure documentation is properly distributed and received Full AR responsibilities: review, reconcile and accurately post CM's and CR's, Monitor and maintain AP and AR aging. Must be comfortable with collections Resolve all vendor and customer account inquiries and discrepancies Monthly inventory, bank and credit card reconciliations Full understanding of prepaid expenses and deposits Calculate payroll time cards Assist with shipping: create labels and documents using carrier portals Assist receptionist when needed Post inventory transactions and assist in annual inventory count Help with G/L account reconciliation, assist in monthly close and annual review. Perform duties as assigned Requirements/Skills: 5+ years' experience preferably from a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution environment. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
