Assistant Formulation Scientist

Develop formula prototypes, batch IDs, and coordinate end products for lab analysis. Assist management of department projects to develop viable products through formulation, production, and post-market quality assurance. Ensures adherence and compliance to FDA cGMPs for food and dietary supplements, and other global regulations. Collaborate with our Physicians, executive and management team to achieve company goals and objectives. Create new products and lead establishment of product specifications in support of product positioning and competitiveness and regulatory compliance. Establishes and refines processes that will speed the product development process and provide continuous improvement to product quality. Create and maintain documentation to support product efficacy, dosage and safety rationales and product claims development using the latest up to date scientific and technical information. Research equipment for use in the laboratory, analyze lab data, interact with extraction and manufacturing departments to facilitate product production. Report data, progress, and/or issues on a timely basis. Plan and schedule project tasks related to laboratory experiments and consumer trials. Work closely with packaging, process development, and manufacturing during development and commercialization of relevant products. Ensure integration of claims and marketing story into development of new products; inclusion of active ingredients. Works with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and proactive commercial delivery of all products and discovery activities in alignment with strategic vision and launch plan Perform additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS BS in Chemistry, Engineering, Product Design, Food Science or related field. MS degree preferred. Comfortable working in a start-up environment. Highly motivated and able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Highly entrepreneurial; demonstrated ability to create new products, SOPs, Equipment needs and intern management. Detail oriented and able to manage and organize numerous projects. Proven Leadership, Communication and Collaboration skills. Strong computer skills in word and excel. OTHER DETAILS Compensation commensurate with experience. Background and reference checks required. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
