Job Description Broadridge is currently looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our growing Customer Communications team in Deer Park, NY. Responsibilities You will be responsible for entire software life cycle including Requirements, Design, Develop, implement and maintain web applications; Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality; Design and develop user interfaces for internet and intranet applications; Analyze, define and perform unit testing to improve and automate existing systems; Set expectations and priorities throughout the development life cycle to complete designs and conduct tests; Train users on usage of new and revised application programs. Develop applications and troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments; Work closely with rest of the development team to complete all assigned tasks. Develop, test, debug and implement code for existing and/or new business applications and/or computer systems. Responsible for all procedural and code documentation on assigned projects. Ensure that every coding path is unit tested and bug free. Participate in full integration testing. Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline You have full-stack coding experience using Enterprise Java Front-end MVC Java code and middle-tier Java code developer Mobile device application development experience Demonstrate knowledge in the software implementation lifecycle and specific programming languages. Experience with Agile methodology Knowledge of Cloud Technologies. Working experience with AWS. Knowledge and working experience with CI/CD tools and projects Experience with developing Microservices Virtual Infrastructure: VMware or Citrix experience Web Development: Java MVC framework, HTML5, AngularJS, XML, JavaScript, Dojo, Apache Tomcat, Apache Struts, WebSphere, MEAN QA Testing & Automation : Unit test case Development/ JUnit, Chef, Selenium Software/Applications: Java EE, Nexus, Jenkins Database Development : SQL Server, Oracle, No SQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) Design Skills & Tools : Model-View-Controller, Object Oriented Design, Eclipse, UML, Visio Source Code Control : Subversion, Perforce, Git #LI-AS1

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
