C#/Java Engineer

Over the last few years, we have made significant investments in our Broadridge Advisor Solutions (BAS) business. Based on the success of these solutions to date and the market opportunities going forward for the integrated business, we are very well positioned to rapidly grow this critically strategic unit. We currently have an opening based out of our Deer Park, NY location for a C# Programmer Analyst. Are you looking to work among a dynamic and creative team? In this role, you will support our Investigo product suite that provides financial services enterprise data consolidation from multiple sources, including clearing houses, custodians and back office systems, into a central repository. It aggregates client account, position and transaction data to craft a single structured data repository that provides accurate and reliable information for advisors. You'll have an equitable mix of experience in C# or Java and database development, including SQL queries and Stored Procedures. Front-end UI development is a plus. A few strategic new web app development projects using Angular, Vue.js, C# and Java with SQL Server back-end are planned in the near future. Qualifications: You'll possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years experience in server-side and database application development working with C# (.NET) or Java. You will have Strong ANSI or T-SQL skills Angular / Vue.js experience desired You'll be familiar with DevOps methodologies Experience with AWS Technologies like AWS Batch and/or Glue experience preferred Phenomenal teammate with excellent oral, written and social skills. You will be familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodology Financial systems experience preferred. #LI-ME

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
