The primary purpose of the Service Specialist position is to cultivate business relationships with the Account Representatives and BGA's. The specialists must meet production and quality guidelines as established through Performance Management. Provide advanced administrative support to BGA's, back office support and Account Representatives. Included in this process are:
Provide decisions or pertinent information to BGA's on a proactive basis.
Collect information from BGAs and back office support to complete the contracting process.
Review commission statements to ensure all payments are accurate.
Identifying agent error trends and work with the BGA office to prevent future occurrences.
Create reports to provide a proactive status of pending agent paperwork to BGA's.
Requirements:
2-3 years customer service experience, processing or data entry.
Prefer candidates with life insurance knowledge but not required.
Understanding of commissions & commission processing.
Good computer skills: MS Office: MS Word & Excel
Ability to multi-task and/or change directions quickly
Good communication/customer service skills.
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
