Replenishment Buyer

Replenishment Buyer-- for this manufacturing firm based in Brentwood, NY.


  • Review and monitor raw material supply and demand levels for raw materials, and place appropriate purchase orders in order to support the ongoing production schedule.

  • Deliver acceptable Supply Chain performance by managing incoming material deliveries with expediting, deferring, or cancelling orders as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate delivery dates for all open Purchase Orders. Follow-up on all missed deliveries.

  • Ensure suppliers have correct artwork and we are purchasing with correct pricing, include dieline campaign ordering and tiered pricing.

  • Coordinate Kanban inventory PO releases to maintain continuous supply of material at all times.

  • Review and approve the processing of all purchase orders, managing inventory strategy, and minimizing down time

  • Identify opportunities to utilize discontinued and excess inventory.

  • Interact with VP Supply Chain, EVP Operation, Plant Manager and/or COO in weekly review of purchase orders.

  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


Project Management, Planning, Analyzing Information, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Developing Standards, Inventory Management, Time Management, Team Player and Strong Communications Skills.


  • Bachelor?s Degree Required, Master?s Degree Preferred

  • At least 5 years related Supply Chain and Procurement experience

  • JD Edwards experience preferred

  • Experience with MRP a must

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated and possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving follow-up skills Must have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
