Our goal at Ross Center is to meet the ever-changing healthcare needs of the communities we serve - and surpass their expectations! We are currently seeking a FULL TIME Director of Food Services to be at the forefront of the dietary functions within our facility.
The Director of Food Services will oversee and instruct employees who prepare and serve meals to residents.
As Director of Food Services, you will work under the supervision of the Administrator.
Responsibilities:
Hiring, training, scheduling, leading and, when necessary, terminating dietary employees Assuring that all kitchen systems are functional before, during and after meals Addressing complaints by residents and staff Informing Administrator of any complaints or concerns Inspecting all dining room team members for proper uniforms and nametags Maintaining the utmost cleanliness of the kitchen areas Ensuring proper handling and storing of food Overseeing setup and breakdown of special events, action stations and theme buffets, including cleanliness and storage of equipment Taking inventory, generating orders and maintaining an accurate level of inventory of food and non-food supplies Working knowledge of GeriMenu and Excel Familiar with DOH regulations, procedures and yearly survey Required:
