Summary:
The Volunteer Coordinator will administer all aspects of the CSJ Volunteer Program including recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers in collaboration with the Director of Mission Integration.
Qualifications:
Bachelors preferred.
Capable of working collaboratively as well as independently.
Capable of communicating in large-group settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but is not limited to):
Supports and carries out the Congregation's mission, affirms its importance and value, and carries out all interactions in a manner that is reflective of the mission of the Sisters of St.
Joseph.
MISSION Empowered by God's love, rooted in the Gospel of Jesus, faithful to the vision of one sacred Earth community, we live and work to bring all into union with God and one another.
Develops, maintains, and publishes guidelines, best practices, and procedures for the volunteer program.
Coordinates needs for volunteer services with all departments.
Sources and recruits volunteers through various techniques and relationships, such as with local faith-based organizations, schools, and civic groups.
Interviews volunteers and places them in different roles based on their qualifications.
Engages in ongoing communication with volunteers to ensure placement is a good fit for the individual's skills and goals.
Maintains an accurate record of volunteers and their services.
Maintains an updated Volunteer section on the CSJ website reflecting real needs.
Responds to all prospective volunteers in a timely manner.
Plans opportunities for affirmation of volunteers, such as a Volunteer Recognition Day.
Ability and willingness to drive; evening sessions may be required in order to reach out to potential volunteers.
Performs other related duties as required.
SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with people of many cultures, ethnicities, and religious traditions.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records.
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software, in particular the Volunteer section on the CSJ website.

Director of Mission Integration PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time.
Lifting and moving materials up to 15 lbs.
Time spent on phone, emailing, or texting.
Occasionally bend, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
