Recreation Specialists at Maria Regina Residence are responsible for working with the residents to provide quality daily program offerings.
As a key member of the care team, you will plan, organize, facilitate and promote Therapeutic Recreation programs in large group, small group and individual resident events.
You will also keep current on assessments and documentation, and ensure quality care and that the social, emotional, cultural, physical and spiritual needs of the residents of Maria Regina are being met.
We put an emphasis on patient safety and mission-based care.
We have very high standards of care for patients and residents, and we are consistently rated as a 5-star facility by CMS.

Some of the key requirements:
Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a similar field strongly preferred Flexible schedule, with the ability to work every other weekend Certification by National Council of Therapeutic Recreation preferred Prior experience working in Therapeutic Recreation preferred; recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population required Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing Team member - with a collaborative, team-based work environment, we are looking for individuals who embrace a high level of care, compassion and teamwork Vaccinated against COVID-19 Quick Apply.
